Introduction

Socrates Run 2023 is a series of hybrid events included physical run, carnival and internship which are fully organized by the Universiti Malaya Student Union Faculty of Engineering. It is collaborating with several student bodies and club associations in Universiti Malaya.

Varsity is mainly comprised of students from B40 and M40 families. As a student body that always strives for the welfare and well-being of our students, UMSU Engine is organizing Socrates which is mainly to raise funds and at the same time bring happiness to the community.

Here by we are aiming to provide a platform for an exciting and different kinds of carnivals that will spark the interest and curiosity of the people to join the event.

Our Objectives

To raise funds for UMSU Engine and provide financial assistance to the needy students

We aim to eradicate severe poverty for all, regardless of gender, race, or religion. They provide financial aid to students from B40 families, with all sponsorships going directly to reducing their financial burden.

Our aim is to provide free and equal tertiary education with relevant and effective learning outcomes. We will use monetary sponsorships to buy laptops for financially challenged students and also accept sponsorships of laptops and tablets to distribute to deserving B40 students.
